We were blessed to welcome Pastor Tim Puls from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN, as he shared a powerful message titled “Face to Face.” đź‘€

In a world of instant communication—texts, emails, video calls—Pastor Puls reminded us that nothing replaces true face-to-face connection. Drawing from Psalm 80, he reflected on Israel’s longing for God’s presence: “Restore us, O God; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.” 🌟

This sermon points us to Jesus—the Good Shepherd—who faced sin, death, and the grave for us. At the cross, Christ turned God’s face of grace toward us, giving us access to His presence. Through His Word and Sacraments, we experience that face-to-face encounter today, receiving forgiveness, peace, and hope. 🙏
