What can one person really do for God's Kingdom?

More than you might think.

In this special message, guest preacher Pastor Joël Held of Edgewater Lutheran Church, our daughter church in Eastvale, reflects on Jesus’ words about a shepherd who leaves the 99 to search for the one who has wandered away.

And for Christ Brea, that story hits close to home.

Nearly 20 years ago, our congregation helped send people into the Inland Empire to plant a church. Today, Edgewater is a congregation where people are being baptized, confirmed, hearing the Gospel, and coming to know Jesus. 🌱

But you don't have to plant a church to participate in God's mission.

👂 Maybe you're a great listener.
❤️ Maybe you're a faithful friend.
🙌 Maybe you're an encourager.
☕ Maybe God has simply placed someone in your life who trusts you.

God can use those ordinary gifts in extraordinary ways.

You don't have to be a pastor.
You don't have to be a missionary.
You don't have to have all the right words.

You simply need to be available.

Build relationships. Build trust. Love people genuinely. And when God opens the door, share the hope you have in Jesus.

The Holy Spirit does the rest. 🕊️

Because God can use your story, your relationships, and your witness to reach the one.
