“I thirst.”

At first, it seems like the simplest of Jesus’ words from the cross… but in this Tre Ore message, Pastor Mark Manning reveals just how powerful it truly is.

💧 A real, physical thirst
💔 A deep, spiritual suffering
🔥 A sacrifice beyond what we can fully grasp

Jesus—who once spoke of living water that would quench all thirst—now experiences complete emptiness.

Why?

Because He was taking on our sin… enduring separation… and giving everything so that we would never be without Him.

💭 What does this reveal about Jesus’ humanity?

🙏 And what does it mean that we will “never thirst again”?

This message reminds us: Jesus gave up everything—even the very presence of God—so that we would never be abandoned.
